"Assassin's Creed: Shadow" double protagonist real-time demo released | Ubisoft Prospect 2024
Today at Ubisoft Foresight, Ubisoft showcased a live demo of Assassin's Creed Shadow, the upcoming sequel to the Assassin's Creed franchise that immerses players in the chaos of 16th-century Japan.
The game, led by Ubisoft Quebec Studios, will be available worldwide on November 15 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Mac with Apple chips (Mac App Store only), and PC (Ubisoft Store only). In addition, Ubisoft also announced that Assassin's Creed: Shadow will be released to the iPad at a later date.
As the official partners of Assassin's Creed: Shadow CPUs and GPUs, Ubisoft and Intel have once again joined forces to bring the ultimate experience to players around the world. Assassin's Creed: Shadow, built from the ground up with a new version of the Anvil engine, will optimize the performance of Intel's hybrid core architecture to ensure that the game has the best experience on Intel Core 14th generation processors.
The gameplay demo mission presented at the launch takes place under Tanbo's Fukuchiyama Castle, where Naho and Yasuke are hunting down a fallen daimyo. The gameplay demo showcases the dynamic complementarity between the two playable heroes: Naho, an agile and stealthy ninja, and Yasuke, a samurai focused on combat. The game begins with them on opposing sides, but in the end they will unite for a common goal. As they usher in a new era for Japan, players will switch roles at any time in the open world and use their unique combination of skills and weapons to deal with various situations and face various enemies in different ways.
Nao unfolds the essence of a Ninja Assassin. From multifunctional grappling hooks that enable stealthy aerial assassinations and increased mobility, to bitterness and custom-made Hidden Blades that can quickly wipe out enemies, she can launch attacks from the shadows using a wide variety of tools. While she is more vulnerable in melee combat, she can expertly deflect, dodge enemy attacks, and launch deadly and precise counterattacks, and she can use light, surroundings, and surrounding buildings to take down enemies.
Yasuke is suitable for direct combat, relying on his excellent combat skills and mastery of samurai weapons. Whether it is wielding a samurai sword for a decisive attack, choosing to use a golden rod to exert raw power, or using a deadly flint gun called "Teppo" to engage an opponent from a distance, he can handle multiple enemies simultaneously.
In addition, players can also take advantage of a new exploration feature called "Spy Network". Naho and Yasuke can send their spies to scout locations to uncover useful information about target locations, habits, and secrets about other worlds.
Players who purchase Assassin's Creed: Shadow Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition can get the privilege of playing 3 days in advance.
